Mandy and Stephanie Day 7

We left Hong Kong today and took a two-hour plane ride to Shanghai. We were served a full meal and Haagen Dazs ice cream on the plane! That would never happen on a two-hour flight in the U.S.! We arrived at our hotel in the evening. The hotel was the most fancy and stylish hotel we’ve ever seen. Everything about it was beautiful. Our room was amazing!! It is the tallest Renaissance hotel in the world. We were on the 39th floor and had an awesome view of the city.

We had a buffet dinner at the hotel with delicious desserts! After dinner, we went to a bar/club called Zapata’s, which was recommended to us. It was really fun and there were many foreigners there like us. After getting back to the hotel, we quickly realized that we couldn’t access our blog website or Facebook! It was definitely interesting to experience the government censorship.
