Touchdown Asia! Lauren Regan and Jessie Sandler

Hiii from Hong Kong!

We're here! We made it! Im writing this from the infinity pool deck at our hotel!

Lauren and I sat next to each other on the flight and cuddled for 15 hours. I slept on her tray table and she slept on my back. Customs and immigration was easy. In Hong Kong they used cameras to monitor everyones body temperature. You were required to take off your hat in the airport. No Flu virus for Hong Kong!

Last night dinner was just unbelievable. There was a gigantic buffet including bird saliva (called birds nest and served as a seasoning or over milk), sea urchin that was bright yellow and white stripped,  snake, sushi, dumplings, live oyster, sharks fin (most expensive chinese food apparently) dragon fruit, a chocolate fountain, ice cream, waffles  and crepes at dinner. The food was delish, and Lauren was super adventurous and tried the urchin and bird's nest.  We wandered around the hotel area last night, withdrew hong kong dollars, and some people tried dried fish candy. We also saw 3 western style chinese weddings. Its a thursday night?!! Who knew it was the night to get married.

We're just about to start day two. We're taking a little break at the pool before we head out to Li and Fung! We had huge breakfast buffet, and enjoyed some veggie curry, omelettes, and a native Chinese lime juice. Its beautiful outside, and the pool looks over the skyline of the city. We got a great night sleep, and are rested and ready to take on Hong Kong.

Lots of Hong Kong love,
L&J (get it, like Li & Fung!)
