We started out day 2 with a trip to the Li and Fung office. The day started with a buffet lunch provided by Li and Fung, which was amazing, especially the pork dumplings. We then heard presentations about Li and Fung from Marc Compagnon the executive director of Li and Fung trading, and Rick Darling, the president of LF USA. We then heard from Mable Chan who talked to us about investor relations. After learning about Li and Fung, we took a tour through the office and saw all of the showrooms that display the products they source and design. Next we went to Posto Publico, a restuarant owned by Rick Darling's son. At Posto Publico we had appetizers and drinks before splitting into 3 groups to try out different restaurants. Stephanie went to to Coast and Mandy went to Red Soho, both were very chic and reminded us of being in a fancy NYC restaurant. Afterwards we were invited to Tazmania Ballroom by Bruce Rockowitz, the president of Li and Fung and owner of the Tazmania Ballroom and Red Soho. We also learned that we happen to be in Hong Kong on a speical weekend, "the sevens" are in town. The Sevens is an international rugby tournament, and people from all over the world are here to watch the games. The last picture shows the crowds of people outside another club. It was a really great, busy day in Hong Kong!
