Afterwards, everyone was free to explore on their own. We decided to go to the Ladies' Market (pictured above) and shop for bargains. It was really packed and the narrow pathway between the 2 rows of tented shops was a mile long. It was fun to haggle and see how low the price would go. We were excited to find some great deals.
We experienced some street food: pork dumplings and chicken skewers. Mandy loved her dumplings and Stephanie thought the chicken was just ok. Later, we went to a restaurant that thankfully had English on the menu. We ordered shrimp and sweet potato tempura, Japanese dumplings, and pork fried rice - it was all delicious!
