Becca&Lauren: Li&Fung, SoHo, The Sevens

Our first full day in Hong Kong started off with a delicious breakfast buffet and hanging out next to the infinity pool at the hotel.  We had no idea the amazing day ahead of us.  We loaded the bus around noon and arrived to a delicious lunch buffet at the Li & Fung corporate offices.  It was the first day learning about Li and Fung and LFUSA.  Lauren and I both can't wait to hear more presentations and to better understand the organization.
Here we are at dinner with the owner of Red SoHo and the President of Li & Fung Trading, Bruce Rockowitz.  The dinner was absolutely amazing and the area, known as SoHo was so interesting.  We took a series of escalators up to avenues of restaurants and bars packed with people from all over the world.

After dinner, Bruce invited us to a night club he owed a few blocks away.  We ran into what looked like a mix between Mifflin and Mardi Gras in a street below us.  We came to find out that the party was for The Seven's, a rugby tournament currently taking place in Hong Kong.  We met people from all over the world walking through the street who were here for "The Seven's."

The most interesting part of walking through the streets of Hong Kong this night was the bits of culture and local Chinese we saw.  This picture is of a local playing traditional street music.  He was sitting below bamboo scaffolding in the middle of this wild street party.  Both Lauren and I can't wait to discover more of Hong Kong tomorrow!
