Gina and Jess China travels begins

Got to a fresh start the first day coming to the union so early that it was dark out still. But we made it to our flight and finally to our destination with only a few hours of sleep and some snake soup and birds nest (made with birds saliva, a delicacy here it seems) under our belts.
Day 2 was a bit harder for us since Jess didn't feel to well from the food the night before and Gina woke up at 4am and couldnt get back to sleep. Both tired and still jetlagged we went down and got delish breakfast buffet together and discovered our love of their oatmeal here that Jess says is alot like the Guatemala kind that she gets when she visits family. The day continued with Gina not being able to work her debit card and get money from atms, because associated bank is useless, and exploring the area before leaving for LiFung for an amazing lunch. We had jasmine tea and a delicious buffet of chinese delights, where Gina found out her love of shrimp dumplings. Then after some amazing speakers there we all toured some of their showrooms, saw a room full of hello kitty (jessica was very happy) and headed back to the hotel to change before dinner. We got the opprotunity to visit Rick Darling's son's restuarant in Soho and were treated to dinner at Coast Grill and Red Soho to feel officially like the luckiest and very spoiled kids from wisco we know. We also got to meet the senior executive Bruce out at one of the nightclubs he owns there in the Soho area and danced to some great golden oldies later that night before taking the taxi home to another restless night of sleep for Gina (8 hours in two days makes her fall asleep on the bus and hit her head on the windows it seems).
Day 3 was more exploration at LiFung and some of their retailing stores and  we got the chance to go to ToyRUs! Yay for legos and jelly bellies! Gina still has no access to money but is being helped by all her fabulous friends. Jess went of to take the ferry to Hong Kong island and Gina went to look at a real pearl jeweler and shop at the Ladies Market (a huge flee market with owners of stalls that barter barter barter, even grab your arms to try and get you to buy somethings at a price). Then Gina and some girls went to McDonalds for dinner after having a full oriental lunch spread at Jasmine restaurant. And Gina's card is back in commission after lecturing her bank about it not working. YAY! sorry for worrying you mom and dad at 6am back there in the states :) i fixed it finally so dont worry! more later
and gina finds a secret mini door in the mall thats "magical" :)
