My name is Avery Wine. I am sophomore in Industrial Engineering with a certificate in business. It still hasn’t hit me yet that I am going to China. This will definitely be a once in a lifetime opportunity and I am so grateful for all the people at Kohl’s, Li & Fung, and UW that have made it possible. I am looking forward to emerging myself in the culture and learning as much as I can. As, an industrial engineering student, my focus is supply chain. Some of the most advanced supply chains are in China so this will be an amazing learning opportunity for me. I hope to take all I learn from this trip, and apply it to my classes and future careers.
The Center highlights and promotes the retail industry and business as a positive and prestigious career choice for students. We bridge the gap between students and employers by stimulating connections and providing networking opportunities. The Center reaches beyond the retail major into other specialties to provide the best of the best in educated undergraduate and graduate students. Our promotion throughout the campus draws the attention of our brightest students to look at retail first. We look to deepen the relationship with our partners by offering access to all of our diverse majors.
